You are invited to a meet and greet today (Tuesday, February 4, 2025) with Amy Ricks as a candidate for the superintendent position from 4:00-4:45 P.M. in the commons area. She is currently employed as a superintendent at Unified School District 459 Bucklin Schools.

The JH Wheat State League Tournament begins on Thursday at Little River. Centre boys play at 5:30 in the Aux. Gym and the girls play at 6:45 in the Main Gym.
There have been several rescheduled dates for the remainder of the HS basketball season. In case you have missed them, here is the remaining schedule in February. The start times will be announced in the weekly announcements, as it is subject to if JV games will be played.

Here are this weeks activities. Please note that middle school parents night ceremonies will happen between the girl's and boy's varsity games in the main gym. Also, if either middle school team wins on Thursday they will play again on Saturday in Little River. High school homecoming ceremonies will take place after the boys varsity game on Friday.

Because of the large number of students and staff being out, I am canceling school tomorrow, January 31. I am hoping getting everyone away from each other for a few days will help stop the spread of the illnesses going around. The high school basketball games against Canton Galva have also been canceled.
