Miss Norma's junior high MTSS read 'A River in Darkness' which was a true story of a half Korean, half Japanese man who escaped from North Korea. To celebrate and appreciate each of the cultures, students enjoyed Japanese and Korea cuisine during class today. Joomi Bobbett and her son from Seoul USA Korean restaurant in Salina traveled to Centre to bring traditional Korean cuisine to share with the students. She also shared her experiences from growing up and living in South Korea before moving to the United States. Students thoroughly enjoyed this experience!
