There will be a football meeting held in the Band Room on July 24, 2023 at 7:00 PM. This will be a meeting to discuss 6-Man vs 8-Man Football competition for the upcoming seasons. There will also be a discussion on the possibility of co-oping with an area team for junior high football in the near future. Parents and guardians of students entering grades five through eleventh this year are invited to attend. Please use the north music room door for entrance to the meeting.
USD #397 Centre is still looking for a concession stand supervisor for the upcoming 23-24 school year. The supervisor will be in charge of ordering supplies for the concession stand as well as set-up before games. USD #397 Centre is looking for individuals who may be interested in being a para educator for the Marion County Special Education Coop for the upcoming school year. Paras would help special education students at Centre School and are needed at the elementary and JH/SH level as well. Salaries start at $12 and can be increase depending on prior experience and education. Everyone is invited to a dedication for Hillsboro's Larry Paine Memorial Splash Pad! It will be on Friday, July 28th with a dedication starting at Noon followed by a hot dog cookout lunch. There will be popsicles, door prizes, and lots of splashing! NO RSVP needed! Hope to see you there!

Congratulations to the Centre Cheer Team on winning several awards at the Cheer Clinic in ElDorado over the last several days. The squad came home with awards for the Best Camp Routine and the Most Improved squad at the clinic along with earning the spirit stick and two blue ribbons for excellence in their performance. Seniors Addie Makovic and Jenaya Plett also both earned All-American Honors by competing solo in several areas. The team is coached by Katelyn Hageman. Congratulations to all the Centre Cheer Team!
JH Boys Basketball will have a scrimmage on Monday June 12 at Canton at 5:00 PM. There will be a vehicle available for transportation leaving the school at 3:50 PM. If you have questions please email Coach Raymer at draymer@usd397.com.

Just wanted to invite all of you to POOL PARTY at the Hillsboro Aquatic Center on Friday evening, June 16th from 6:00 to 8:00pm. There will be FREE admission to families and parents can enjoy swimming, water safety instruction, and door prizes!
