Parents As Teaches wants to invite your family to a “Garden Party!” Your child can plant a flower, explore sensory play with dirt, and take-home fun gardening activities to do at home! This will be a COME & GO event at Serenity Gardens (1320 190th St, Hillsboro) on Saturday, April 26th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
Reminder: the Butter Braids sold by PTO need to be picked up today between 3:00-4:00 at the school in the commons.
The Marion County Youth Leadership group held an awards banquet Monday night to celebrate members' completion of their programs. New members awarded were Ryleigh Jones and Julian Resser. Student members of the committee were Olivia Carlson and Anna Godinez Vinduska, who were selected from the youth leadership class last year to represent students on the committee. This is the announcement for tomorrow morning at Centre. With the weather becoming warmer, we have witnessed an uptick in dress code violations so I have asked teachers and staff to make a concerted effort to enforce the rules. The dress code can be found on page 11 of the student handbook. The handbook is on the school website under student information.
Students, please be advised that teachers and staff have been instructed to enforce the dress code located in the student handbook. Strict enforcement will begin this Thursday, March 27th, so please be advised that the rules will be enforced beginning Thursday and continue through the remainder of the year. Thank you for your cooperation.
Preschool Open House will be held on April 11, 2025, from 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM. It is come and go.

Congratulations to the Centre Junior High Choir on their first division rating at the Wheat State League Music Festival. Not only did they receive a first division rating, but they also scored the highest number of adjudicator points of any choir in the festival. The choir is under the direction of Ms. Amy Harms. Great job students and teacher!!
Neighbor to Neighbor Abilene has invited DVACK to host a presentation. We encourage any and all ages to attend. This will allow you to learn about the resources available to you or someone you know.
Contest and Cinema Concert Tonight at 7pm
We are sharing our success from our JH Music Contest! We did amazing and I can't wait for them to have a chance to show it off to you!
HS music students will also share some movie songs and some of their contest pieces. HS Music Contest is in April.

Spring school picture packets are being sent home with your students. Individual picture packets were sent home yesterday. Class photo forms will be sent home the first of next week. Please check your student backpacks or ask your older students for both of the forms, as they are different. Forms need to be filled in their entirety with payment included.
